The BAC Water Amabassadors made a tour in Kenya and visited various Just a Drop projects. Of course the main purpose of their trip was to visit the Kyeni Primary School. In 2018 BAC employees raised money for this school.
A water harvesting tank of 30.000 liters and 3 hand washing stations were installed. The children got hygiene training and learned how to make soap. Our BAC Water Ambassadors met the parents who built the tank, saw a demonstration of the Health Club on how to wash hands and they participated in some classes.
During the rain seasons the tank will be filled with water and as such the pupils no longer have to carry water every day to school. The school can now invest the saved money in other projects.
